Additional sales potential of EUR 25 to 35 million

Walldorf, 14 October 2019 – Ekotechnika AG (Primary Market; ISIN: DE000A161234), the German holding company of the EkoNiva-Technika Group, the largest dealer of international agricultural machinery in Russia, is expanding its business and taking over further sales regions of the globally active agricultural machinery manufacturer John Deere in Russia. This was decided today by the Executive Board of Ekotechnika AG. The agreement with John Deere comes into force on 1 November 2019. The regions concerned are Altai and Omsk in Siberia as well as Arkhangelsk, Karelia, the Leningrad region, Pskov, St. Petersburg, Veliki Novgorod and Vologda in the northwest of Russia. The regions form two further large sales regions for Ekotechnika, which both connect to existing regions, including Altai, Russia's second most important agricultural region after Krasnodar. The activities of the EkoNiva Technika Group comprise five major regions in Russia. The management anticipates an additional sales potential of the new regions of EUR 25 to 35 million (total sales revenues in 2017/18 financial year: EUR 164 million).
